Man wanted after high-speed chase, vehicle theft in 3 counties

LAWRENCE COUNTY, AR (KAIT) -

Authorities in three counties are searching for Greg Fender.

Fender, according to the Lawrence County Sheriff's Office, was involved in a high-speed chase in a stolen vehicle out of Craighead County.

On Wednesday, Fender led deputies on a chase through Lawrence, Randolph, and Greene Counties. Arkansas State Police was also involved in the pursuit.

During the chase, Fender reportedly abandoned the stolen vehicle he was driving in a field in Randolph County. He then stole another vehicle that was nearby and fled the area.

Fender was last seen driving a red, four-door Chevrolet pickup with Arkansas license plate number 075XEP. He is 6-feet-two-inches tall, weighs 230 lbs. with brown hair and blue eyes.

He is also wanted for vehicle thefts in Craighead, Lawrence, and Randolph Counties.
