LAKE CITY, AR (KAIT) - A Lake City woman told a deputy her home was broken into but only money was missing.
The victim reported the home burglary Tuesday morning.
A Craighead County sheriff's deputy was dispatched to the home on County Road 975 around 6:20 a.m.
The woman told Deputy Holden Harrison she woke up that morning to find her door had been kicked open.
She also noticed someone had gone through her purse and took $100.
The deputy advised the victim to contact the sheriff's office if she found anything else missing. No suspect description was given.
The suspect or suspects could face charges of residential burglary and theft less than $1,000.
