ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) – "Whassup?!" The King of Beers is teaming up with the King of Burgers!

Burger King and Budweiser have teamed up to create the “American Brewhouse King.” The duo’s partnership is described as “the perfect summer pairing inspired by America” in the newly-released ad.

The ad marks the first time the Burger King speaks in a commercial, with his first word being “whassup.”

On Twitter, after making the partnership news public, Burger King and Budweiser embarked on the hilarious exchange we have come to know by heart thanks to the infamous ads.

The “whassup” commercial campaign ran from 1999 to 2002, sparking the popular catchphrase.
