LITTLE ROCK, AR (KAIT/KARK) - A video is circulating social media showing a popular R&B singer saying she couldn't perform because the city of Little Rock shut it down.
Now, people who paid for tickets to see Keyshia Cole want answers.
The Little Rock Convention and Visitors Bureau runs the amphitheater at the River Market in Little Rock.
KARK reached out to a spokesperson with the bureau and they said that every concert is under contract and that 11 p.m. is the end time stated in those contracts.
The reason behind the end time is to reduce noise for nearby neighbors.
One concert-goer said that exceptions should be made and some money should be repaid.
"We didn't get to hear one song or anything basically just got to see her where we were down in VIP and that was it," said Shawonda Harris.
Harris said that something similar happened to her at the same spot last year and it makes her not want to go back.
The website listing a flyer to promote the concert has since expired so, for now, there's no way of knowing if any refund is possible.
