According to investigators, family members provided a description of clothing and personal belongings belonging to Young. The items were a match of what the investigators knew about the man.

Law enforcement was also able to establish that the last time Young was seen, was around the time the truck was first reported as stolen.

The family said they had not been able to reach Young since Friday evening and have been concerned because he would return calls and messages.

Young knew the owner of the truck that was reported stolen. The owner said that Young had been at her home in the days leading up to the stolen vehicle report.

The Butler County Coroner’s Office and the Missouri State Highway Patrol are thanking those who provided information.
