BAXTER COUNTY, AR (KAIT) - A man suffered serious injuries when his small plane crashed during takeoff.
The crash happened Wednesday night at Gaston's Landing Strip, according to the Baxter County Sheriff's Office.
Jeremy Wayne Saul, 38, of Russellville was attempting to takeoff when his fixed wing single-engine Cessna 150H went down at the end of the airstrip in the treeline.
An air ambulance took Saul to a hospital in Springfield, MO with unspecified injuries. According to the sheriff's office, Saul was the only one on board.
The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating the crash.
