SHARP COUNTY, AR (KAIT) - Sharp County authorities say the recent vandalism of a road grader will wind up costing taxpayers more than just repairs.
Sometime during the overnight hours of July 11, someone threw rocks and broke out multiple windows on one of the county's Caterpillar graders.
County Judge Gene Moore said it will cost about $1,500 to replace the windows.
But, he said the cost to taxpayers would also include downtime of grader operator and roads not being graded while it is in the shop for repairs.
