Flooding reported in Thayer area

THAYER, MO (KAIT) - Heavy rains on Wednesday have caused problems in a park in southeast Missouri, officials said Wednesday night.

According to Thayer Emergency Manager Jeremy Turner, flooding was reported in Warm Fork Park with some roads in the area currently underwater.

The area has received two inches of rain since 6 p.m. Wednesday, officials said.

Also, the National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Warning for southern Oregon County until 12:15 a.m. Thursday due to the weather.
