ASU Celebrates Constitution Day

Jonesboro, AR-- Over 200 years ago, the United States Constitution was signed, and ASU celebrated the Anniversary today.
Events included keynote speaker, U.S. District Court Judge Leon Holmes. A native of Hazen, Arkansas, Holmes earned his bachelor's degree in political science from Arkansas State University, a doctorate from Duke University, and a law degree from University of Arkansas at Fayetteville.
Judge Holmes said the day is a great way to continue the importance of the Constitution and the role it plays in our lives.
Other events included a round table presentation, focus groups, and cake and punch.
Over 400 students, both college and high school, attended the event.
