Crimestoppers--Craig Rickert Reports

Someone Has Been Writing Bad Checks

This week we're looking for a woman who police say is writing bogus checks through a local bank. Her name is believed to be Shannon D. Robbins. To date, police say she has written over $5000 in bad checks. If you think you know where police can find our suspect, who goes by Shannon D. Robbins, call Crimestoppers right now, 935-STOP or toll free, 888-566-STOP. No one will ask your name; you are completely anonymous.

This week on Warrant Watch we're after Ralph and Randy. Let's start with Ralph Bell. He's this week's multi-jurisdictional offender. Jonesboro Police have him for six fail to appear warrants. He's also wanted out of Hoxie and Lawrence County.

Randy J. Hill, Jr. Keeps all six of his warrants in Jonesboro. He has 4 non-payment of fines and 2 revocation of probation warrants. If you have the goods on Randy Hill Jr. or Ralph Bell, it could be worth cash. Call Crimestoppers right now and share your knowledge with police. No one will ask your name. You'll get a tip number instead. Then, keep watching Crimestoppers to see if there is arrest in your case. If so, call Sgt. Steve McDaniel at JPD and give him your tip number. He'll let you know if your tip cracked the case. If it did, it's worth cash. Give Crimestoppers a call. And remember when you see crime, call Crimestoppers, 935-STOP.

Recently Region 8 News aired a story that got the attention of our editorial board. A long-standing rule at Peddlers Bar & Bistro in New York limits anyone dining with children to one alcoholic beverage, in order to hopefully limit the danger children face from drunk drivers.
