JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - Several topics were discussed during Jonesboro's city council meeting Tuesday night, including a resolution on recognizing the importance of diversity of ideas in Jonesboro.
The council first adopted a resolution that allows the mayor to advertise a request for qualifications for a consultant to study impact fees in the city.
The city also adopted a resolution recognizing the importance of diversity of ideas and thoughts and committing that the council supports the community as they fulfill their civic duty.
An ordinance for a private club permit for Horizon Bistro, Inc. was also on the agenda.
The establishment would be located at 4811 E. Johnson in Jonesboro.
The council held the ordinance for a third reading during the next city council meeting.
