LAKE CITY, AR (KAIT) -

Riverside Public School teachers and staff returned to the classroom Thursday morning for a lesson that could save lives.

The district’s new nurse, Karen Bolt, guided teachers and staff in performing CPR, according to a post on the district's Facebook page.

The faculty learned how to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation on everyone from infants to adults.

When school starts next Monday, Aug. 13, the staff will be prepared in the case of an emergency to possibly save a life.
