JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - Prosecutors have decided not to pursue charges against a man accused with his brother of robbing the owner of a Jonesboro restaurant at gunpoint.
A judge found probable cause last year to charge Travis Centrell Williams and his brother Kentrall Dewayne Williams with aggravated robbery.
The men were accused of robbing the owner of Church's Chicken in the restaurant's parking lot, 1902 E. Johnson, on Sept. 3.
A jury trial for Travis Williams was set to begin on Aug. 27; however, on Thursday prosecutors submitted a motion that the charges be nolle prossed.
Circuit Judge Pam Honeycutt approved the motion, according to online court records.
A jury trial for his brother, Kentrall Williams, is still set for later this month.
