Senator Lincoln Hosts Medicare Rx Program Today in Jonesboro

JONESBORO, AR - U.S. Senator Blanche Lincoln will be in Jonesboro and Region 8 today, where she will host two public forums to help Arkansans learn how to sign up for the new prescription drug benefit which has been added to Medicare.

Lincoln will host at 10 a.m. forum at the Jonesboro Senior Center (900-B West Monroe), followed by a similar forum this afternoon at 1 in Batesville at the Senior Center.

Lincoln will be joined by representatives from the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services, as well as the Social Security Administration to help explain how the new benefit will help seniors and to give Arkansans the opportunity to ask questions about the new prescription drug plans offered through Medicare.
