LIGHT, AR--It's finally here, the day hunters around the country have been waiting for, the opening day of Arkansas' waterfowl season. More than 250-thousand hunters took to the flooded rice fields and timber around the state, all hoping to bag their limit of birds.
It's estimated that duck hunting brings in more than $1,000,000 a day to Arkansas' economy during the 60 day season.
But for hunters it's not about how much they spend, it's more about how much fun they have.
For Woody's Guided Hunts near Light, Arkansas, hunting is a way of life. The Brady brothers; Scott, Greg, and Jarrod offer guided hunts and lease pits during their off season as farmers.
