Craighead Among Six Region 8 Counties in Line for Rural Health Care Funding

LITTLE ROCK, AR - Arkansas' congressional delegation announces that two Arkansas organizations have been awarded more than $761,000 in rural development grants.

The Ozark Health Foundation in Clinton will receive $420,505.  The money is to be used to coordinate pharmacy, radiology, patient assessments, physician management and electronic medical records among various health-care providers in Van Buren and Searcy counties.

Other counties benefitting in Region 8 are Craighead, Cleburne, Cross, Jackson, White and Woodruff.

The grant money will reach more than 100,000 Arkansans.
