CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO - Four Southeast Missouri State University football players face assault charges in connection with an alleged beating of two students at a fraternity party this month.

Charged yesterday in the alleged assault were D'Eldrick Taylor of Vicksburg, Mississippi; Timmy Holloman of Orlando, Florida; Gerald Breedlove of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and Frederick Williams of Tampa, Florida.

Two university students told police they were punched, knocked down and kicked repeatedly as they left a fraternity party on December 4.

Taylor says he didn't kick anyone and wasn't involved.  A phone message left for Holloman was not immediately returned.  There were no phone listings for Breedlove and Williams.
