Paragould, AR - A man charged with capital murder for the slaying of a woman in Paragould is to be tried on April 10th.

29-year-old Wesley Garland Jordan is charged in the May 13th death of Lisa Cochran, whose body was found when her home burned. Authorities say her throat was slashed.

Residents near the home say they heard an explosion and soon after saw flames 20-feet high.

Cochran's husband, Delbert, remembers his wife as a kind-hearted person, who wanted to help everybody.
