The Most Expensive Gift in Jonesboro is Found

December 22, 2005 - Posted at 8:45 a.m. CST

Jonesboro, AR - Jonesboro has tons of great gifts for the holidays, but what is the most expensive? Randy Parrott, the News Director here at KAIT, sent us out on the mission to find what the most expensive gift is and if it's in our budgets.

Out of all the gifts we found, we narrowed it down to just four. The first gift we found was a spa that costs $14,000. While that was expensive we knew there was something else.  We stopped for help along the way and found Jim Frigo with FOX Country. He told us he thought it would be jewelry or a really expensive gift card.

With those ideas in mind, we went to the Harley Davidson shop for something manly.  Keith, our photographer, was in Heaven. Shiny chrome, twinkling lights, everything a man could want. The Screaming Eagle Fat Boy was the top seller there, but it was just under $30,000. And I knew there was something else out there more expensive.

So we headed where I thought would dazzle our dreams for the holidays. We knew Pagan's Jewelry would have a few items on everyone's Christmas list. There we found a diamond ring that shined and put a sparkle in my eye, but it was only $50,000. That seems really expensive, but I knew it wasn't the most expensive.

Finally we ended up at Sound Concepts to see what they had. A home theater room with top notch speakers, 120 inch projector screen, reclining chairs, and a remote control that takes care of everything.

We found our most expensive gift at $100,000 and decided to take the rest of the day off and watch a movie.
