Resource Fair to Help Hispanic Community

ROGERS--In Rogers, a Head Start outreach office is putting together a resource fair for the spring to feature all those agencies and services that might be of help to Hispanics in
the community.

Lucia Guillen says some families have no place to take their children for the required physicals before kindergarten, for instance. And low-income families don't have the
resources they need or the language barrier gets in the way of getting help.

Guillen has contacted dozens of companies and nonprofits, asking them to bring information about their services to the fair. She also is asking doctors and other professionals to provide free
services for children. The fair is scheduled for April 29th at the Rogers Activity Center.
