Highway Police Seize 115 Pounds on Cocaine near Alma

ALMA, AR - The Arkansas Highway Police said this morning that officers seized 115 pounds of cocaine while inspecting a tractor-trailer at the Alma Highway Police Station in Crawford County.

The drugs were found in the truck's sleeper berth and were hidden in a compartment in the floor.  Officers said the street value of the drugs is about $1.5 million.  The driver was headed from California to New York delivering produce.  He was arrested on drug charges and is held on no bond at the Crawford County jail.
