CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO - Four days of shooting for the Hollywood film "Killshot" will begin January 9 in downtown Cape Girardeau.

The movie stars Diane Lane, Johnny Knoxville and Mickey Rourke and is based on a novel by Elmore Leonard.  It's about a couple who enter the federal witness protection program and are sent to Cape Girardeau.

Filming will capture scenery of historic downtown streets and spots along the Mississippi River, employing between 100 and 150 local residents as "extras."
