Jonesboro, AR - The Craighead County sheriff wants to come up with emergency response plans in case an earthquake destroys a bridge over the Saint Francis River.

In 1811 and 1812, some of the most powerful quakes to ever hit North America occurred in the area. State emergency management officials say Craighead County is likely to be among the counties hit hardest if a large quakeoccurred in the New Madrid zone.
