LITTLE ROCK, AR - A program providing free college classes, job training and other benefits to help low-income adults seeking education has been expanded.

Governor Huckabee and state higher education officials announced the expansion of the Career Pathways Initiative, a program with more than 750 participants.

The initiative provides free college classes and career training to those who qualify.  It started in August with five two-year colleges participating.  The program has been expanded to eleven of the state's 22 two-year schools.
