Northeast Arkansas Business Today Honors Region 8 Businesses

JONESBORO, AR - Some of the biggest names in the Region 8 business community took center stage last night at the Northeast Arkansas Business Today awards banquet.  The event at St. Bernard's Auditorium in downtown Jonesboro was sponsored by the Northeast Arkansas Business Today (NEABT) publication.

More than 400 people packed the auditorium, as K8 News anchor Craig Rickert served as the event's master of ceremonies.

Liberty Bancshares, Inc. won the publication's Outstanding Large Business award, while Ritter Communiations of Jonesboro and Marked Tree took the top honors for medium-sized businesses.  Bad Boy Mowers in Batesville took top small business honors.

The evening's top honor went to Jonesboro commercial real estate developer Bruce Burrow of MBC Holdings.  Burrow was named business person of the year.

NEABT also honored 25 outstanding young executives throughout northeast Arkansas.
