Large Business of the Year Reveals Secret

January 20, 2006 -- Posted at 2:15 p.m. CST

Jonesboro, AR -- The secret is out...Liberty Bank says their success comes from their staff and the community.

Liberty bank started out as the bank of Jonesboro in 2001. After expansions throughout the state, they felt they needed to change the name. In 2003, Liberty Bank was established. Bank president John Freeman, says the key is the people, and they stick by their foundation.

"We have a true philosophy to be as friendly as possible to our customers when they come in, we can't be in business without them. When we were first built, we wanted to give customers everything they could get on a national level, but with a hometown like service. We're still a community bank."

With a 500 million dollar growth in total assets last year, Liberty Bank is one of the top banks for total assests in Arkansas. And Freeman says as long as they can give quality service, they'll continue to grow.
