Offbeat: Handicapped Motorcycles

GREENE CO., AR(KAIT)--Dave Caldwell builds bad boy choppers, but his calling is creating three wheeled bikes for those with handicaps or disabilities.

After working factories all his life and rebuilding motorcycles and VW bugs on the side, he decided he'd turn his sideline into his career and started Dave's Bikes and Trikes.  Dave's business is located in the shop behind his house on highway 358 in Greene county.

After he customized a trike for a disabled man, word got around and now Dave is in high demand.  Dave credits his ability and his new career to his faith in God, just happy to be working and doing what he loves.

"I know God got his hand in this," said Dave.  "He's got his finger in the pot and He's sitrring up something good.  I feel truly blessed to be able to do something I love and feel called to do and am still able to make a living and take care of my family."

For more information about Dave's custom motorcycles and handcapped three wheeled cycles, just call him at 870-573-6950.
