JONESBORO, AR - The governor's annual tourism conference will be held next month in Jonesboro, where officials say they hope northeast Arkansas gets a boost in visitors.
The meeting draws together officials who share information and learn new ways to help bring tourists to the state.
One session will focus on how to use the Internet to promote state parks and other attractions. Another session will be on how agri-tourism, which northeast Arkansas officials say would be a way to bring visitors to their part of the state.
