MENA, Ark. (AP) _ An Arkansas man hopes to auction off some

frayed $20 bills he says he found as a boy on a family outing in

Washington state that were identified as money stolen by legendary

skyjacker D.B. Cooper. D.B. Cooper is the name given the man who

skyjacked a Northwest Orient Airlines flight from Portland, Oregon,

in 1971 and parachuted out with the money and was never seen again.

Now 34, Brian Ingram of Mena says he has 17 of the bills and is

working with an attorney to auction off the collection through

Sothebys in New York. Negotiations are underway. Ingram suspects

the bills are worth thousands of dollars.
