Braun to Speak at Black History Month Celebration

LITTLE ROCK (AP) _ Former United States senator Carol Moseley

Braun of Illinois will headline a series of discussions and events

at the University of Arkanasas at Little Rock in observance of

Black History Month. A lawyer and former ambassador, Braun will

deliver a keynote address Thursday. Braun ran for the Democratic

nomination for president in 2004. She also has been an Illinois

state legislator and a federal prosecutor. Over events include the

documentary ``Rize,'' about the dance style emerging from the

streets of south-central Los Angeles. The film will be shown

February 21st at the university.
