39 Hurt in Greyhound Bus Accident in Wyoming

RAWLINS, Wyo. (AP) _ A Greyhound bus has crashed on a snowy

interstate in Wyoming. Authorities say 39 passengers were hurt but

there are no fatalities.

The accident occurred after the driver was temporarily blinded

by snow thrown up by a passing truck.

The bus was carrying 45 people. It was headed to Denver from

Salt Lake City with stops in Wyoming.

The driver told the state Highway Patrol that the bus veered

onto the median, and that when he attempted to get back onto the

roadway it rolled over.

The accident occurred 23 miles east of Rawlins, which is about

150 miles west of Cheyenne.
