Jonesboro--Bob Snell Reports

Offbeat: Positively Presidential

February 20, 2006--Posted at 2:30 p.m. CST

JONESBORO--He's just six years old, but he can name all 43 U.S. Presidents by their picture.  Jackson St. Pierre is truly a White House wonder and first learned his presidents at age four.

Jackson's dad, Lee, says he believes Jackson has a photographic memory.  He first noticed it when, at age three, he memorized all the Thomas the Tank Engine trains by name and number.  After that, Jackson's Paw Paw challenged him to learn the presidents and told him he would buy him a video game for every 10 presidents he learned.  Two days later, Jackson had 4 new video games.

When he grows up, Jackson says he wants to be the president and a basketball player and he might have a sibling as his V.P. on the ticket in 2036. Jackson's 2 year old brother has already memorized 6 of the presidents.
