WEST MEMPHIS, AR - A Texas-based chemical company says it will expand its bromide facility in West Memphis. The first phase of the construction project for TETRA Technologies is expected to be operational by late 2007. The second phase is scheduled to be completed in 2009.
TETRA says it will also expand its brine production facilities near Magnolia. The $100 million project in south Arkansas will employ more than 100 people.
