JONESBORO, AR - Police and court officials in Jonesboro are continuing to adapt to the closing of the city's Justice Building.
The building was evacuated February 17 out of concern that the roof would collapse. Wokers heard popping sounds from above as a winter storm approached and an inspection revealed cracks in support beams in the roof.
Mobile homes have been installed in the parking lot and police are trying to figure out how to make the most of the limited space.
Architects expect to have plans ready by tomorrow to repair the Justice Complex. The work to shore up the roof could take three weeks or longer.
