Made in the USA

Newport, AR -- America's Choice Products hasn't been in production long, but they say they are here to stay. Last summer, Governor Huckabee dedicated the old American Lantern building in Newport, to America's Choice Products. Then it was empty, now it full of molds, machines, and workers.

Kaneaster Hodges, Jr., co-chairman at America's Choice Products, says it's unbelievable to think just a few months ago there was nothing, and now, well, they're something.

"We make the bottom part of snowboots, we make the bottoms for L.L.Bean, and ship them to North Carolina, and we make plastic shoe inserts. And they are comfortable."

But making these products isn't their only objective. They hope they are doing something for the overall outcome of the country's economy.

"What we're really trying to do is bring jobs back to the USA, that a year ago were in China. When we opened up here it brought over one-hundred jobs to Newport. It's our hard workers that put in the time and effort that make us who we are."

Their products can be found at your local Wal-Mart or your area Avon dealer.
