How'd They Make That Week - Customized Motorcycles

March 2, 2006 -- Posted at 8:15 a.m. CST

Jonesboro, AR -- What makes someone buy a brand new motorcylce and then take it to a shop to have it customized? Michael Baker, owner of Hollywoodz Customs, says it's an 'individual' thing.

"It's a big thing to make something your own. You can't buy something off the showroom floor that's exactly what you want, so you get it customized."

Michael's been customizing for 8 years now, but has been riding since he was 5.

"I guess once they put me on a bike I feel in love. I've been hooked ever since, so this just seemed right when I opened up my own custom shop."

Hollywoodz Customs has only been open for 2 months, but they're already running out of room.

"Two months, that's it, and this place is already getting packed with bikes. But that's what we like. It's all about the job you do and if it really fits the person, and their budget. It's not about the money."

Doing what he loves and his customers do to.

Hollywoodz Customs is located at 1233 Flint St. in Jonesboro. For more information call 870-931-4422 or email at hollywoodzbikes@yahoo.com
