Computer thieves Caught In The Act

It's hard to beat the video in this week's crime of the week. This comes to us from Wal-Mart and JPD. Keep an eye on the man at the bottom-middle of the screen and the woman at the top of the screen. He has a big box in his cart, she may be his lookout.  Police say he is loading laptop computers into that box, four in all. Police say he would later get past the sensors and leave the store with $3000 worth of computers. There's no video of him coming into the store, but here is his suspected accomplice! Do you know who she is? detectives say she was running lookout for our suspected computer theif. If you know who this woman is, call crimestoppers right now and tell police what you know. Call 935-5562 or email Sgt. Steve McDaniel. You will remain anonymous and your tips could be worth cash.

Moving on to Warrant Watch. Amentria L. Bates is our first watchee. She has 10 non-payment of fines warrants.

When you have over 20 warrants you are a Warrant Watch All-Star. That's Donnie Brown. The 33 year old has 33 warrants! 19 non-payment of fines and 14 revocation of probation warrants.

If you know where police can locate Donnie Brown or Amentria Bates, call Crimestoppers right now at it's temporary number, 935-5562. Your calls and emails will remain anonymous. Give 'em a call, and remember when you see crime, call Crimestoppers, 935-5562.
