Paragould Authorities Discover Man's Body in Fire Rubble

PARAGOULD, AR- Authorities in Paragould have discovered the body of a man in the rubble of a fire that began early this morning in the city's downtown section. Holland's Flea Market Furniture and Appliance is in ruins after an early morning fire raced though the building on Pruett Street. 

It is believed the remains are those of a man who apparently lived in an apartment inside the building, but authorities have not yet released the victim's identity, as they are still attempting to notify his family.

Multiple fire crews responded to the blaze around 2 a.m. and found the building fully engulfed in flames.  It took them nearly three hours to get the flames knocked down and under control.  They were able to keep the fire from spreading to any of the connecting buildings along Highland and Pruitt streets.
