BENTONVILLE, Ark. (AP) _ Organizers of the Crystal Bridges
Museum of American Art planned for Bentonville say they want to tap
into state tourism resources to help promote the attraction.
Museum director Bob Workman says he wants to work with Fort
Smith and Eureka Springs and with the Clinton Library in Little
Rock. Workman says the Clinton Library has had success in working
with tour bus companies, and he says he wants to pursue similar
arrangements for the museum.
Workman says he wants to reach a broad market. He says there are
plenty of people from the Baby Boom generation who will seek out
the 50 million-dollar museum, but he also wants to promote the
attraction to teenagers and young people.
The museum is planned to open in May 2009.
