Jonesboro, AR -- Heather Flanigan Reports

Click For New Career...Region 8 Job Link

JONESBORO, AR -- Finding a job can be a challenge, but KAIT is working to make that easier. Our website, kait8.com has a new feature and it’s making starting a new career as easy as just a click away.

“Employers are not going to know you are there if you don't make yourself known,” said KAIT Internet Director David Rounds.

It's as easy as a simple click...and employers are connected with potential employees across Region 8.

“I think this will help put your name out in a broader selection of possible employers and it will also allow employers to pull from a broader selection of job applicants, instead of just from Jonesboro. They will be able to choose from a several county area,” said Rounds.

It starts with posting your resume. From factory workers to receptionist, there are available jobs in every field. But if you're looking for something specific, we'll let you know when it arrives.

“They get notifications when there is a certain job open. Say a person is looking for a secretarial position, when the job is posted by another employer, an email is sent to the job applicant to let them know immediately that the job is there,” said Rounds, “With all the new industry and all the new manufacturing coming to Jonesboro and Region 8 as a whole, I think this will be a invaluable tool.”

Employers can post several positions and they can also search resumes, so it's a great tool for everybody on both sides of the job hunt. The Region 8 Job Link is sponsored by Express Personnel.
