Bold Thieves May Have Made One Mistake

We are calling this week's Crimestoppers, "Lost in Translation". This video comes to us from JPD and JC Penny. Our suspects are going to pull a fast one the clerk at the register. Their act is pretending they can't speak English. They haggle with the clerk about the correct change and then eventually, reach into the register and take a wad of 20's! In this case, they got $195,  but they weren't done. They pulled the same act two more times, literally digging into the registers using the same "lost in translation" act.

In all, they got over $500 in cash. We never get a good shot of their faces but there is a red herring. Watch the odd walk of one of the suspects. Notice how his legs kind of flare out.  If you think you recognize any of these suspects, especially the man that walks with that odd gate call Crimestoppers right now, 935-5562. No one will ask your name. You'll get a tip number. If your tip leads to an arrest, cash could be coming your way.

How 'bout some Warrant Watch action?

Amanda Painter-Britt leads off this week. She has 6 non-payment of fines and 5 revocation of probation warrants.

Nathaniel Smith, Jr. Adds a half dozen warrants to the kitty. He has 6 failure to appear warrants out of Jonesboro.

If you know where police can track down Nathaniel Smith Jr or Amanda Painter Britt, call Crimestoppers right now safely and anonymously 935-5562. You also e-mail Sgt. Steve McDaniel at JPD. Get your tip number and keep watching Crimestoppers. If there's an arrest in your case contact Sgt. McDaniel and give him your tip number,  it could be worth cash.
