ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (AP) _ Missouri soldiers killed in Iraq will be
remembered in a unique event next weekend in St. Joseph.
The so-called ``Walk to Remember'' to be held Saturday is a
five-kilometer walk along a road lined with photos and biographical
information about troops from the state killed since the war began
three years ago.
Money raised through the event will go to pay for bronze markers
to be placed on soldiers' graves.
Many across the country are marking the third anniversary of the
Iraq war, but in different ways.
Thousands turned out for anti-war rallies yesterday in Madison,
Wisconsin; Concord, New Hampshire; Times Square in New York; Boston
and Los Angeles.
