Another Jonesboro Restaurant Applies for Liquor Permit

MARCH 21, 2006 - Posted at 7:26 a.m. CST

JONESBORO, AR - Another Jonesboro restaurant has applied for a liquor permit.

Yesterday, a spokesman for O'Charley's Restaurant said the company has started gathering the signatures needed in order to obtain a private club liquor permit.  O'Charley's says the petition will guage the interest of guests, stating "their voice is really the most important in this matter."  The O'Charley's spokesman said his company wanted to mirror the practice of Outback's Jonesboro franchise, which was successfully granted a conditional liquor permit last month.

O'Charley's already has a bar in place.  The restaurant in south Jonesboro is located at 2312 East Parker Road.
