Jonesboro Police Make Second Arrest in Woman's Murder

JONESBORO, AR - Jonesboro police expect to charge a second suspect with first degree murder today in connection with the March 5 death of a Jonesboro woman whose body was found on South Fisher Street.

According to JPD Detective Chad Hogard, investigators have arrested 19-year-old Erica Robinson of Jonesboro in the case.  Robinson is to appear for a probable cause hearing this afternoon before District Court Judge Keith Blackman.  Hogard says Robinson is already being held on unrelated charges.

On March 5, officers were summoned to an area behind a vacant residence on South Fisher Street, where the body was 35-year-old Melissa Wade was found.  Last week, police arrested 34-year-old Vincence Mathes in the case, charging him with Capital Murder.
