LITTLE ROCK (AP) _ Republican Congressman John Boozman has filed
papers to run for re-election. Boozman says he is looking forward
to an expected Democratic opponent in the Republican stronghold of
Boozman is one of at least 203 people who have filed with the
secretary of state's office to run for political office as of
Woodrow Anderson the Third, a Fort Smith businessman, has said
he will file to run next week as a Democrat in Boozman's district.
Political filings began Tuesday and continue through April
Arkansas Court of Appeals Judge Larry Vaught also filed Friday
to run for re-election.
