KENNETT, MO - Police in Kennett have arrested more than a dozen suspected on-line sexual predators following a two-week undercover sting operation.

Among the 15 suspects are an Army staff sergeant and two prior sex offenders.

Authorities lured the men off the Web by simply renting a house, installing several computers, and going to work, posing on the Internet as underage girls.  When the suspects proposed in-person meetings, police simply gave them the address and waited for them to show up.

Police say one suspect showed up carting Viagra and a box of condoms.

The 15 suspects, many of who hail from northeast Arkansas, face charges of second degree attempted statutory rape.  Police say the suspects came from Jonesboro, Paragould, Peach Orchard, and Trumann in northeast Arkansas, as well as Kennett, Caruthersville, East Prarie, Jackson and Sikeston in southeast Missouri.  Other suspects are from Dyersburg, Tennessee, and as far away as St. Louis and Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri.
