Since were heading into the month of April, our Tip of the Month will be about your safety in the rain.
As we all know "April Showers bring May flowers," and April being the beginning of our wet, rainy season you'll need to make sure your wiper blades are at their finest so you can see the road more clearly.
If you wiper blades look dry and broken, then replace those old blades with new ones. Also, make sure the blades make full contact with the windshield, so there won't be any streaking or high spots missed when they are wiping the windshield.
If your blades are just dirty, all you need to do is get some Rubbing Alcohol and a rag, pour the Alcohol into the rag and wipe the blades clean. You will be amazed at how much better they work!
Also, let’s not forget those tires; make sure the tread is sufficient enough so they won't hydro-plane on those wet roads. Take a penny and measure the tread depth by inserting it into the tread. If you can see the top of Abe's head, then you need to get new tires.
When it does rain, use common sense and slow down!
