SEATTLE, WA - Arkansas Lieutenant Governor Win Rockefeller is recovering from his second bone marrow transplant in Seattle.  He underwent the process yesterday, according to his office.

The transplant was necessary because of a rare blood condition known as unclassified myeloproliferative disorder.  A transplant performed in October 2005 was unsuccessful.

According to his staff, Rockefeller is in good spirits and will return home to Arkansas when his physicians determine that the transplant has been successful.  His medical team is affiliated with the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance, a consortium of the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center.
