JOPLIN, Mo.(AP) _ Law enforcement officials say a drug bust near

Joplin this week may be one of the largest in the country.

Two California men have been charged with drug trafficking,

after they were stopped near Joplin Thursday night.

The patrol says the men had 40 gallons of liquid P-C-P, and 12

kilos of cocaine in their semi-trailer truck when it was stopped at

a weight station near Joplin.

The truck was searched after a commercial vehicle officer

discovered that the driver had numerous violations and a suspended

license.

Charged yesterday were 35-year-old Marzett Parker and

36-year-old Odell Edwards, both of Fontana, California.
