MARMADUKE, AR - According to Craighead Electric, approximately 500 customers remain without power in Greene and Crittenden counties.  Cooperative crews and contract crews worked throughout the night to restore power in the area's affected by yesterday's storms.

Several main feeder lines were damaged in Greene County, causing widespread outages.  Around 8 o'clock this morning, the feeder line serving the Lafe community was re-energized.  The major damage is concentrated in a line from just east of Gainesville through Marmaduke toward Rector.

Craighead Electric says crews will continue to work around the clock to restore power.

To report outages, call 1-888-771-7772.
